With its strong foundation in the steel business, it was only natural for BSI to move forward to other related opportunities. The Fabrication Division of Albawardi Steel Industries (BSI) was setup in the year 2000 to Serve Oil & Gas Industries. It started with modest beginnings by executing various miscellaneous fabricated work required by various customers. Since then it has grown and today it has a capacity of executing over 12,000 metric tons of structural steel (columns, beams, rafters, etc.) and over 300 metric tons of miscellaneous steel items (Handrails, Stair treads, Stringers, Ladders, etc.) per annum. The factory has a total covered area of about 10,000 sq. m. & over 20,000 sq. m. Open yard for raw material storage & painting. The fabrication facility has 5×10 metric ton and 2×5 metric ton overhead EOT cranes and is fully equipped with over 160 skilled and trained manpower (welders, fitters, fabricators, and machine operators), Saudi nationals as well as overseas expatriate workers comprise the total work force. Our strength lies in our ability to deliver contracts on time. This is achieved through meticulous planning of processes as well as materials and close follows up during manufacturing processes.
